The Hub Lafayette is now
The Hub Lafayette has a new name -- and a new chapter is beginning.
The Well and Acadiana Outreach Center have joined together as one organization, bringing complementary services, relationships, and resources together to better serve individuals and families in our community.
While our name has changed, our heart has not.
For years, The Hub Lafayette has provided a place where individuals experiencing homelessness and chronic poverty could find community, relationships, basic needs, resources, and opportunities to move forward.
That work continues at
Through our merger with Acadiana Outreach Center—which provides shelter, housing, and outreach services—we now have an opportunity to walk alongside people in an even more connected and meaningful way.
What Does this Mean?
The Well is not starting over.
We are building on the relationships, volunteers, donors, churches, community partners, and years of service that have shaped The Hub Lafayette.
You will continue to find many of the services and relationships you already know—now as The Well.
At the same time, our merger with Acadiana Outreach Center allows us to connect people to a broader continuum of support, including shelter, housing, outreach, basic needs, resources, relationships, and community.
What Hasn't Changed?
Our heart for people.

What Happens to Acadiana Outreach Center?
For now, you will continue to see both The Well and Acadiana Outreach Center.
We are one organization, serving through complementary areas of ministry. In the future, we will work toward a unified brand and identity. For now, our priority is simple:
Serve people well. Strengthen what works. And make the transition as seamless as possible for the people who depend on us.

A new name doesn't erase that story.
It allows us to keep writing it.
