We are locals striving to better the Acadiana community by providing women and children a safe place to call home while they get back on their feet. The staff, volunteers and Board of Directors of The Outreach Center work together to help the poor of our community access resources in an attempt to enrich and rebuild their lives.
Jill Meaux, CEO
Jill Meaux is a 20 year veteran of the Lafayette media and non-profit industries and has been the Executive Director of the Outreach Center since 2011. Jill is a proud Ragin' Cajun and is a Marketing graduate of the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. She brings with her a passion to serve and has dedicated her career to helping the poor and homeless. She is a certified foster parent and sits on the board of the Plastic Theater of Lafayette.
Mary Loftin, RAC, CCS
Director of Programs
Mary Loftin is a Registered Addictions Counselor and has worked in the mental health field in both outpatient and inpatient levels of care for more than 15 years. She holds a degree in alcohol and drug counseling and has experience working for the drug court system, in a 28 day facility setting, and is the Vice-President of Acadiana SACO (Substance Abuse Counselors Organization).
Housing Case Manager
Alexandra works with our clients to assure they are equipped with the necessary tools for success. By assisting residents access resources, she helps them to understand the importance of self-sufficiency. Alexandra graduated Cum Laude from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette in 2011 and is active in Lafayette's theater community. She is a proud mother and in her spare time, she enjoys dancing, acting and spending time with family.
Homeless Street Outreach Specialist
Heather has worked in the homeless service industry for 4 years providing case management and outreach services. Prior to joining the Outreach Center she has years of experience in customer service and enjoys helping people. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family.
Thaddeus Robinson, BS
Homeless Street Outreach Specialist
Thaddeus is a Criminal Justice graduate of Grambling State University and has worked for over 27 years in the justice system both as a Narcotics Investigator with the New Iberia Police Department and later as a Program Director with the Iberia Parish Drug Court Reentry program. Today he works doing street outreach in Iberia and St. Martin Parishes to help connect individuals and families living outdoors with services and shelter. Thaddeus is also a proud father and has a son who just joined the Navy.
Nancy LeBlanc Fawcett
Donor Development Coordinator
Nancy has over 20 years of experience in the television and radio advertising fields and has held both regional and local sale management positions here in Lafayette. In her spare time Nancy is active with Rotary and the Holy Cross ACTS program and is the proud mother of 3 children.
Hollie French, LPC, ART
Hollie has a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL and is a certified Art Therapist.
Dr. Ben Doga, MD
Dr. Benjamin Doga is a family medicine doctor in Lafayette, Louisiana and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Lafayette General Medical Center and Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. He received his degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport and has been in practice for 16 years. Dr. Doga believes in delivering quality care in a compassionate environment and strives to prevent disease and treat illness with the best options available.
Kathleen Maloney is a degreed accountant with over 25 years of experience in Boston, New Orleans and now Lafayette. She has extensive experience in financial statement preparation, budgeting, cash forecasting and the preparation and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
